Why this particular system for my work?
1-Shot and Multi-Shot work well for food. 1-shot on a MF reflex camera for immediacy and mood. Multi-Shot and a view camera to capture all the subtle textures and colour. Each has its place in different projects.
What makes my working day?
Always it’s the ‘buzz’ when shots are working well. Then it’s more buzz when the best shots really come together in post production.

Leaf and Sinar AG agree to expand strategic cooperation to cover imaging technology
Cologne, Germany, September 25th 2008
Leaf, developer of advanced medium format digital camera systems, and Sinar AG, longtime provider of digital high-end camera solutions, today announced their intention to expand their strategic alliance to include bilateral sharing of digital imaging technology.
The first step of the planned cooperation will provide access for Sinar AG to the new Leaf AFi-II imaging technology in order to round out their innovative range of digital system solutions with the new True Wide Sensor format.
"Our intention is to combine the extraordinary image quality and digital technology of Leaf products with Sinar’s vast knowledge and experience in creating superior medium format cameras." said Dov Kalinski, general manager of Leaf. "As we expand our strategic cooperation with Sinar, we expect to see more new products that enhance the offerings of both companies."
"At Sinar we have a sixty year long tradition of excellence in designing and building innovative and precise camera systems for photographers around the globe." said Wolfgang Keller, CEO of Sinar AG. "The new Leaf AFi-II digital back would complement our own digital product range perfectly, like the brand new eSprit 65, and with this cooperation we will be able to provide solutions for an even broader spectrum of professionals."

Best Medium Format D-System: Sinar Hy6 series
The introduction of the Sinar Hy6 series gives a new
competitive edge to the professional camera market. The
camera is an innovative medium format system developed for
high-resolution digital backs as well as film. It covers both
6x4.5cm and the classic 6x6 cm square format, providing future
options for digital backs with larger CCD-sensors. The central
shutter sports a shortest exposure time of 1/1000sec while the
new electromagnetic mirror drive concept ensures low-vibration
operation. The ergonomic, rotating control grip with an
integrated LCD display ensures great handling and precise
control of settings.
