3. Sinar eXposure^TM 6.0

We are pleased to announce the first release of our all-new Sinar eXposure^TM 6.0 capturing software. This first release is mainly geared towards the fashion and portraiture market as well as any other mobile applications. It supports the Sinarback eMotion family, i.e. Sinarback eMotion 75 and 75 LV, eMotion 54 LV, and eMotion 22 with all camera/shutter systems supported by these Sinarbacks. Particularly, the Sinar eXposure^TM 6.0 software supports the Sinar Hy6 camera system, and is hence offering
you a well-rounded package to address the aforementioned mobile photography market.

The Sinar eXposure^TM 6.0 capturing software is a state-of-the-art application with full support of today's commonly used multi-processor computers, offering a considerable gain of speed. In comparison with its predecessor the new software downloads images from CF card 30% faster and the capturing rate in tethered mode has almost been doubled.

It is designed as a modern one-window application, yet offering a maximum of flexibility in its user interface layout. I.e., the user can freely place the various elements of the user interface according to the particular needs of his workflow. Moreover, the Sinar eXposure^TM 6.0 capturing software stores the image raw data in standard DNG format, offering the possibility to view, process, and archive the images with the third-party image processing and database application of your choice.

4. NEW: 2^nd Generation Sinarback eMotion 75

For more than a year, the Sinarback eMotion 75 has been the workhorse of choice for photographers working in the high-end mobile photography market. Now, this proven digital camera backs has become even better. The 2^nd generation Sinarback eMotion 75 is featuring a new, brilliant high-contrast LC display that is approximately 15% larger than its predecessor.

In addition to the new display, the 2^nd generation Sinarback eMotion 75 is equipped with re-designed electronics boards that significantly enhance the image quality of the device. The new hardware produces cleaner shadow details and hence offers an even greater dynamic range.

5. Firmware Updater for Sinar Hy6

We are pleased to announce that a tool to update the firmware of the Sinar Hy6 is now available.

Registered users can download the Sinar Hy6 Firmware Updater from the Sinar website free of charge (www.sinarcameras.com: Downloads / Software).

The firmware updater allows to easily install the latest firmware – version 2.09 – onto the user's Sinar Hy6. Cameras currently featuring firmware version 2.05 and higher can be updated.

With firmware version 2.09 some new features are introduced and several bugs of earlier versions are fixed. The most important improvements are the following:

• The Sinar Hy6 now supports also multi-shot captures
• The user can assign some of the functions to one dedicated soft-key
• The operation of the control wheels on the camera's grip can be locked by one push of a button
• Aperture values of lenses with manual focus and a maximum aperture not corresponding to a full EV (e.g. f3.5) are now read correctly
